Unfinished Train Cars (From the vault, 1996?)

I don't think I finished this because I committed the last wheel too far away and the perspective wasn't going to work. This was in the days before I could mitigate my inadequacies by software. I also must say I have NO MEMORY of making this piece at all. I would like to recycle this motif.

Caveman with the Munchies

Watched quest for fire again and modeled this caveman a bit off of Ron Perelman's character.

Another Patreon Card, but not the last.

I got mixed up. I've been more disorganized about sending these out this time, At least one person received 2 cards. so I made another, which also went out to someone who already had one! So I'm building a better accounting system and making one more card after this.  Trophy hunting a beholder!

Space Wurm! More game art for Johnstone Metzger.

Space Wurm! More game art for Johnstone Metzger.
Honestly I'm starting to think I need to be making easier pictures, tore my hair out making this perspective work.

The Alien Queen Attacks!

Believe it or not this was one of the hardest pieces I've ever done. I tried a lot of different color schemes but the orange-green seemed to work the best. Another new piece for a project by Johnstone Metzger.

Recent work for last months Worlds without Master

These illustrations were for a story by Vincent Baker for last months Worlds Without Master! I loved tapping the rich golden veins of Sime and Finlay on these two. I'm now conscripted for next months cover image in which I'm going to try to balance on the tightrope of my inner Richard Powers.

Super busy post.

Been super busy working a set of illustrations. (A pen and ink teaser in the "one of these things is not like the others" frames below) i was pulled off my regular drawing to help my brother in law frame in some of the windows to his greenhouse. I am no carpenter (by any stretch of the imagination) but the windows I finished will now weather a storm anyway.
