Dis Raw brainstorming

One of my first ideas for Jonathon Walton's "dis". There are certainly some cool aspects about it. I especially like the Minotaur with a raptor on a chain. This is a the raw "artifact" version. If I had liked it enough it would have gone into photoshop and cleaned up and tweaked etc. There are a lot of reasons I don't like this one and I consider it more of a brainstorm. It's pretty messy, I think I completed it late at night just to see what kind of impression it might have with full inking and contrast. I present it here for your amusement. And if you would like to see the completed version I finished check it out here. http://nates-notes.blogspot.com/2016/05/dis.html

Rockdragon_CaveCamp

The legend is that this cave once functioned as the mouth of a rock dragon, the truth is no stranger, this cave was formed from the fossilized remains of of a giant clam who's entrance has been eroded through the traffic of time.

SHE

Taking some inspiration from H. R. Haggard's "She", a book who's story I know so well, but not from the original text but from other versions. I tried to read H. R. Haggard as a kid and couldn't get into it but I've loved the movie and comic book versions.
