Sketchbook LifeDrawing


Sometimes I'll push the students by projecting a slide over the model. The logic to the light stays the same but of course the pattern threatens the assumptions we have of the model and also creates a greater challenge in replicating what "we see versus what we know." I like how it flattens and pulls the contours out at the same time. Despite pulling some groans from the students at first, it turns out to be great fun.
