Home Plate Auction Paintings!

Emily and I were invited to Make live paintings last weekend for the Farm Plate auction and benefit that is held each year for Home Plate Youth Services, a great organization that helps a lot of families and young people. We are always happy to participate. Here were are finished pieces that we traded back and for the work on. They were 4" x 6" acrylic pieces that we had less that two hours (with people hovering about talking to us) to finish them. Our subject matter was a vegetable basket that was also up for auction. definitely a good challenge!

Year before last I did a live landscape painting in about the same amount of time. Check out those posts here and here.

A Music Collaboration

I have written some words that have been turned into songs or set to music in collaboration with Annen Berg now based in Argentina. A great project that I have been proud and excited to have a small part in over the years.
