Just for your amusement I thought I'd post a nice interior page of Handlers#02 I'm working on before all the words, typos and balloons spoil it's pristine prettiness. It's inspired by opera and features some new coloring techniques I'm getting better at. I'm really excited about the interior of this one, my best to date. It's going to be hard not posting all the pages!

New Instrument

A new instrument I bought at the Asian grocery. Really cool refillable brush-pen. Unfortunately the flow isn't what I'd hoped and it tends to get a dry-brush mark pretty fast, but that's cool if that's what I want. I think that you are supposed to squeeze the handle intermittently. I couldn't read the instructions they were in Japanese.

sisyphus and deerhead

Just had this photo sent to me of one of my Sisyphus series paintings residing in a friends studio apartment kitchen underneath an inflatable Argentinian deerhead! Sweet goodness Happy Easter!
