Working on some WXF

A few strips of WXF I've been working on.

"Angles" on Oregon. Landscape Painting Artshow

Come check out Nate's new paintings!
This is a one-night opening on "First Wednesday" in Forest Grove.

The event is from 4-6pm, but we will be able to extend the hours until 7 if enough people say they're coming...so come!

Paintings will be up all month, but we would really love to see everyone on 8/1 in our "home town." Drink coffee, catch up, and check out Nate's new landscape paintings of rural Oregon!

A painting sighting!

A recent sighting of one of my paintings, a mixed media piece called "propolis".

Danger Patrol 1944

I ran a game of danger patrol with a 1944 hack/spin to it at GoPlay Nw 2012 in June.

Mural Activity

I recently helped my wife on a summer mural project. It was a ceiling mural and the ceilings were 14 feet high! It was a killer job that had to be done pretty quick. These photos were taken in progress. I hope to get some more photos of the finished work up when they become available.

3 palettes

Before throwing these three palettes out I documented them as beautiful and unique objects.

A quick note...

Been busy lately and summer is in full swing. Sitting in front of the computer as little as possible, and more in front of my sketchbooks, drawing paper and canvas. I've been painting landscapes in oils and working on a zine styled "game-kit" for fun that I hope to have out soon.

Attended GoPlay NW 2012 which was a blast and gave me lots of great ideas that I just need to sit down and execute.

I still plan on presenting danger patrol #2 here first. I also have about 5 wxf's tucked away waiting on writing, as is Handlers #33. The writing part is always where the project starts slipping for me, it takes a lot of time and I still haven't figured out a way to make it as fun as the drawing part.

Ok, more later, stay tuned!

Another painting I've painted over

Another Painting who's canvas has been resurfaced for a new image. I just never could solve it's problems, and eventually didn't care to. This image documents the under layer for some kind of imaginary posterity.
